Genealogical and Family information is often hard to research, and Hingham Cemetery has a directory of burials up to about 1995. We have also provided a link on the Contact Info & Links page that you may find helpful in locating burials in Hingham Cemetery. Since there are 5 other cemeteries in Hingham, you may also want to contact:

Hingham Cemetery is set on a hill between Main Street, Water Street, and South Street in Historic Downtown Hingham, Massachusetts.

Easily accessed behind the Old Ship Church at 107 Main Street, visitors may freely walk through the grounds “at your own risk” and enjoy the surroundings.

Also accessible from both South Street and Water Street, visitors may stop at the Chapel and pick up a walking map showing the location of many unusual trees and important historical monuments. A preliminary version may be viewed by clicking here for a
